1994:

Goldsteig Käsereien Bayerwald (Cham and Plattling):

The automatic high rack storage system of the new cheese processing and logistics centre in Cham automatically controls the growth and hence the ripeness status of Emmentaler and Chester production. This distinctly improves the product quality, environmental protection and cost effectiveness.

Lactoprot, Alpenländische Milchindustrie und Handels-GmbH (Pasching/Austria):

A new system for conditioning vapour condensate developed together with the manufacturer of membrane systems and processes MemBrain GmbH (Düsseldorf) improves environmental protection in the dairy industry as well as cost effectiveness. The system consists of an ultrafiltration installation with novel ceramic membrane modules and a downstream reverse osmosis facility.

APV Cheese Division (Them/Denmark) and MD Foods Käsewerk Hjörring (Denmark):

The automatic Sanipress system for producing and processing large quantities of semi-hard cheese, developed jointly by the two companies, represents a further step in rationalisation and at the same time improves quality control and reduces energy consumption.
